THE PROJECT

Green Camp’ is an innovative project designed to enhance environmental and food sustainability awareness and skills among young students through practical, hands-on education. This initiative aims to foster sustainable behaviors in young people, encouraging eco-friendly lifestyles and conscious actions toward environmental protection. The project aligns with the Erasmus+ Programme’s priority of Environmental Sustainability and the development of key competencies in school education.

The project addresses the growing need to educate younger generations about environmental sustainability. It responds to the challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution by integrating sustainability education into school curricula. ‘Green Camp’ aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to act responsibly toward the planet.

The main objectives of ‘Green Camp’ are to:

  • Increase students’ awareness of environmental conservation and the impact of daily actions on a sustainable future.
  • Equip students with practical skills in organic farming, composting, recycling, and sustainable consumption.
  • Integrate innovative, interdisciplinary educational approaches, combining STEM and STEAM to provide engaging and informative learning experiences.
  • Motivate students to become ambassadors of sustainability in their communities.

‘Green Camp’ will implement various activities, including:
