1st Multiplier event

Welcome to our first event to raise awareness of the Green Camp project.

The research phase, which focused on environmental and food sustainability, has been successfully completed.

The project is currently in the phase of uploading educational and research content to the platform. The content has been developed, quality-checked and translated into Italian, Romanian and Polish, ready for the multilingual e-learning platform that the partners have already tested and validated.

Main Focus

Present the outcomes of the “Green Camp” project by turning research into practical and user-friendly educational tools.
Promote action-oriented education capable of bridging the gap between awareness and concrete behavioral change toward sustainability.

Presentation of the Green Camp Handbook.

  • The handbook was described as a synthesis of research, practical experience, and current educational needs.
  • It was designed as an operational tool to help teachers and educators integrate sustainability into everyday learning activities.
  • The guide offers a structured but flexible framework, adaptable to different educational contexts.
  • It promotes experiential learning, direct contact with the environment, and active student participation.
  • The content is organized into thematic modules focused on:
    • understanding natural systems,
    • sustainable practices,
    • civic responsibility.
  • These modules support the creation of educational pathways tailored to different student groups and settings.
  • Participants appreciated the handbook for being practical, clear, and easy to use.
  • Its flexibility was considered especially important, as it allows adaptation to:
    • different age groups,
    • available resources,
    • specific needs of each educational community.

Sustainability in Practice: Research and Educational Approaches

Throughout the two-day conference, international research results were presented alongside examples of best practices in sustainable agriculture, composting, responsible consumption, and resource management. These examples offered participants a practical perspective on how sustainability can be meaningfully integrated into education in ways that are relevant and adaptable to local realities.
