WP3 - Training Development and Platform

Objective: To create structured training modules and launch an interactive online platform for sustainability education. This aims to organize training sessions, both online and practical, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program. The objectives also include facilitating access to education for a wider audience, equipping participants with knowledge and skills for sustainable behaviors, promoting continuous learning, and creating a sustainable learning community.

Expected Results: A comprehensive set of training modules on sustainability topics. An interactive digital platform for distance learning and collaboration. Various multimedia learning materials (videos, tutorials, quizzes, case studies). Documentation summarizing participant feedback and recommendations. A handbook/booklet for teachers providing strategies for teaching sustainability concepts.

Activities: Creation of the online platform. Development of training workshops for teachers and educators. Experimentation of the training model (online and practical laboratories) with a sample of students and teachers. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of the training and platform. Collection and analysis of feedback and data. The activities include the creation of the platform and teacher training led by Capofarfa (Italy), experimentation of the curriculum led by Garden Lab (Poland), and monitoring and feedback led by Conil Kids Club (Romania).

Role of Partners: Capofarfa leads content development for educator workshops, supports Italian workshops, contributes to platform design, manages pilot activities, supervises training monitoring, assesses student experiences, and conducts hands-on sessions. Conil Kids Club provides inclusion and diversity expertise, delivers Romanian educator workshops, contributes to training evaluation, reports on Romanian student experiences, and conducts hands-on activities. Garden Lab offers sustainable gardening and composting knowledge, supports Polish educator workshops, helps evaluate training effectiveness, reports on Polish student experiences, and leads hands-on sessions. All partners collaborate on training materials, platform promotion, staff training, and monitoring and improving the platform and materials. Garden Lab supports the implementation of this WP. Capofarfa handles platform creation and Italian teacher training. Conil Kids Club focuses on evaluating training effectiveness and collecting feedback. Garden Lab is responsible for experimenting with the curriculum in Poland and leading practical sessions.
